Beta Theta Pi

Beta Theta Pi was the first of three fraternities, all now major national bodies, founded at Miami University (Ohio, not Florida) between 1839 and 1855. Its flag is a horizontal triband of blue, white, and blue, with the crest from the fraternity coat of arms on the center: a red dragon sejant on a white and red heraldic wreath. Centered above the dragon and in lower hoist and fly are three white stars which form an equilateral triangle. The flag was first adopted in 1890 and changed to its present form in 1902.
