Shield Vert two wheat sheaves Or tied Gules in fess, slightly above a jug Argent, on chief three arrows Argent in fan tied Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PENSO - SERNANCELHE".
Meaning:
The arrows are attributes of St. Sebastian, the local patron saint. Sheaves and jug are alluding to agriculture and pottery.

Coat of Arms

Shield Gules an eradicated ash Or, on base a throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable with one arch issuant from base wavy of Azure and Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FREIXINHO - SERNANCELHE".
Meaning:
The ash (Port.: freixo) is a canting element. The base wavy is a representation of the Távora River.
