Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a throughout metal bridge Sable having one arch, an adze and an axe in saltire, both Gules between a watermill's wheel Gules above and a cogwheel Sable beneath. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "LORDELO DO OURO".
Meaning:
The bridge is representing Ponte da Arrábida, crossing the Douro, represented by the base wavy.

Lordelo do Ouro Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Porto Municipality (q.v.); it had 22 270 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 3.4 km².

Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure, Argent and Vert, crowned by an ancient ship Sable having four masts, in chief a cogwheel Azure flanked by two flames Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "MASSARELOS".
Meaning:
The base wavy is referring to the estuary of Douro River, here probably sailing ships landed in the past.
