Fajão e Vidual is one of the eight communes of Pampilhosa da Serra Municipality; its parts had 317 inhabitants in 2011 and it covers 79,6 km².

Coat of Arms

Shield Or, two eradicated chestnut trees Vert fruited Argent , ordered per fess; in chief a fleur-de-lis Azure; issuant from base a triplemount Vert. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FAJÃO".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Assumption, the local patron saint.
