Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a palm leaf Vert and a gridiron Gules crossed per saltire, in base a grapevine Purpure leaved Vert. Mural Crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "MIRAGAIA - LOURINHÃ".
Meaning:
Palm and gridiron are attributes of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint. The grapevine is alluding to agriculture as main business line, especially the production of fine vines.

Shield Azure, three arrows Argent tied per fan by a rope Or. Mural Crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "MARTELEIRA".
Meaning:
The arrows are an attribute of St. Sebastian, the local patron saint.
