Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a belfry Sable masoned Argent with two windows of the same, both charged with a bell Azure, issuant from base wavy of Argent and Azure a valley Vert charged with a crescent recumbent Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, with inscription in black initials "FATELA".

Presentation of Fatela

Fatela is one of the 18 communes of Fundão Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 456 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 11,26 km².
