Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent, masoned Sable with three arches, in chief a Florentine fleur-de-lis Argent, flanked by two branches of olive Or fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ALFUNDÃO"

Alfundão Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Ferreira do Alentejo Municipality; it had 863 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 52,0 km².
