Shield Argent, a heart Gules pierced by a sword Argent flanked by two Ionian columns Vert, in central chief a fleur-de-lis Gules, in base a bar wavy Azure charged with a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "PELMÁ".
Meaning:
The Sacred Heart and the fleur-de-lis are attributes of St. Mary.

Pelmá Commune is one of the five communes of the Alvaiázere municipality (q.v.); it had 736 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 30.4 km².
