Shield Argent, in central chief a grapevine Purpure leaved Vert, in base two branches of rue (Latin: ruta graveolens) Vert with their feet crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "FREGUESIA DE ARRUDA DOS VINHOS".
Meaning:
The grapevine and the rue (Portuguese: arruda) are canting elements referring to the commune's name.

Arruda dos Vinhos Commune is one of the four communes of the Arruda dos Vinhos municipality (q.v.); it had 8656 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 34.4 km².
