Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a torn coat Gules flanked by pine cones Vert, issuant from base a throughout bridge Sable masoned Argent, having three arches. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "S. MARTINHO DA CORTIÇA".
Meaning:
The torn coat is an attribute of St. Martin, the local patron saint and name giver of the commune.
