In the jubilee book of "College Zeemanshoop, 1822-1872", Amsterdam is
a flag plate with for Delfzijl a blue flag with in the canton the red-white-blue
Dutch flag, and a letter and cipher D4. It is obvious to see that this
was not a bright idea, as the bottom stripe of the Dutch flag has exactly
the same color as the main field.
