The council informed me they have a municipal flag. However, I could not find an image. Speculative drawing attached.

Coat of Arms

from sefircoahuila.gob.mx

The coat of arms of Progreso was adopted in 1976, being designed by Juan González Mancha who drew it and Heriberto Robles who gave the significance of the design. It was adopted through a contest in the primary school Rogelio Santos San Miguel. The border is scrolled, reading at the top PROGRESO COAHUILA. At the bottom, TIERRA DE HOMBRES REACIOS [Land of Unwilling Men]. The upper-left section depicts a hand holding charcoal and a pick by it, remembering mining. To the upper-right, a hand holding a cob of corn and a wheat to its side for agriculture. At the bottom, a desert scene with yucca plants, the sun, mountains, and bovine in front of a spring for cattle-raising. In the center over a circle, an image of a deer surrounded by two snake heads for the fauna of the region.
