The municipality did not give information regarding their coat of arms. The border is scrolled, reading at the top GUERRERO and at the bottom REAL PRESIDIO DE RIO GRANDE. 14 stars are seen on the sides, probably for the communities with one at the top for the municipal seat. Behind the coat of arms are weapons of the indigenes (left) and colonizers (right). The upper-left section depicts the Mission of San Bernardo in the desert. To the upper-right, a sunset with a man by his wagon seeing the Rio Grande, remembering the first populators of the municipality. The lower section depicts a house, trail, and hills to the left of a river; to the right, a bovine, sheep, and goat for cattle-raising seen by a tree. A bridge can be seen over the river. Note in older versions the house is not there.
