Coat of Arms

The municipality told me they did not have information regarding the coat of arms. The border is in the form of a scroll, reading at the top ABASOLO COAHUILA; at the bottom TERRA MATER [MOTHER EARTH]. Carrying the shield is an eagle for the Nationality. The upper-left section depicts the San Vicente Ferrer church; to the upper-right, a lit torch for the spirit of liberty the inhabitants have. The lower section depicts a field irrigated by a creek, mountains in the background. To the left a tractor and tree.
