Flag

As of now, it appears the municipality does not use any flag; not even for its council. If true, that means this is the only flagless municipality in the state.

The description of the coat of arms, found in the Municipal Code, is as follows:

In the first quarter is a cross in gold which refers to the second part [of the city's name]. In the second quarter is a golden bee as a symbol of its inhabitants. In the third quarter appears a fountain in gold which probably alludes to the springs near the population. In the fourth quarter is a rampant lion in gold which represents part of the coat of arms of Rincón de Romos, alluding to the arms of this surname.

In the upper part, the number 1658 refers to the year in which the Hacienda de Rincón was sold to the Romo family. In the same distribution, the words laboriosistas, fidelitas, and bonitas are found; Latin terms which signify: industriousness, fidelity, and goodness. The awning is crowned by a knight's helmet which represents the nobility of the sons of the Municipality of Rincón de Romos.
