The flag of Afragola, a municipality of 64,000 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Naples, has a golden background of the municipal coat of arms, granted by Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, a hand is depicted holding four red strawberries, for evident similarity with the toponym on a yellow and red vertically split field.

"Il Gonfalone - Drappo partito di giallo e di rosso, riccamente ornato di ricami d'oro e caricato dallo stemma civico con l'iscrizione centrata d'oro, recante la denominazione della Cittá.Le parti di metallo ed i cordoni saranno dorati. L'asta verticale sará ricoperta di velluto dei colori del drappo, alternati, con bullette dorate poste a spirale. Nella freccia sará rappresentato lo stemma della Cittáe sul gambo inciso il nome. Cravatta con nastri tricolorati dai colori nazionali frangiati d'oro."
