By August 20th of this year (2011), a presidential and prime minister flags are going to be introduced. Standard of president would be a plain white flag with red and green flames at the borders, and charged with coat of arms in the center, which is supported by two angels. As I noticed, it is very similar to that flag used by Governor Horthy before the World War II. The design of angels-supported coat of arms can be seen at President's home page: http://www.keh.hu/

As I reported it earlier, a presidential standard was designed for the President of Hungary in last year. This standard was flown at first time on 7 January 2012 in front of the Presidential Palace, when Palace Guard started its operation.
Technically this flag is called as an ensign of supreme commander of Armed Forces, but this is standard of the president in fact.
Its flag is white with red and green triangles around the white field, and Hungarian coat of arms is placed in the middle of the flag supported by two golden-contoured angels.

The Presidential flag is the flag of supreme commander of Armed Forces, defined by law, but MoD Decree contains its detailed description and its illustration. "1.1. The coat of arms of Hungary held by two angels can be seen on both sides of the white base flag. The crown is golden. The edges of the flag are surrounded by 9-9 on the longer sides, 5-5 on the shorter sides, 19-centimeter-based, extending to 18-centimeter, alternating red and green wedges. In the corners, there is a green circular finish between the red wedges. The height of the flag is 140 centimeters, the length is 220 centimeters. The height of the coat of arms including the crown is 86 centimeters. The height of the angels holding the coat of arms is 76 centimeters." [Translated by the Editor using Google Translate]

Prime Minister's flag

I have received some information about planned Hungarian prime minister's flag from a non-official, but informal source. Based on his information, it could be a white flag with green and red flamoulets, but charged with full coat of arms (flanked by oak leaves) in the center, and four crowns!! would be placed in each corner. Please note, this is not an official information, but came from vicinity of the government.
