Starting as a civil engineering laboratory back in 1949, after almost 80
years of growth and development, the IGH Institute is today a driving force in
development in civil engineering and the leading civil engineering institute in
Central and Southeastern Europe.
In 1956, the laboratory formally grew
into the Croatian Civil Engineering Institute (Institut građevinarstva Hrvatske
or IGH), an institution with independent financing. Since 2009, it has been
called the IGH Institute (Institut IGH), a joint-stock company for research and
development in construction.
The flag is seen in shades of grey or blue with the logo diagonally across it.
