The coat of arms of Nerežišća is azure, a church with a bell tower on a distaff and an apse from which a pine tree grows to the left. The flag is blue with the coat of arms bordered on white in the middle. The ceremonial flag is a blue gonfalon with two ogival tails with tassels or, with the coat of arms in the middle, the name of the municipality in an arch and a line above, crossed olive and vine branches, and in the right tail a white lamb and in the left a crossed chisel and hammer.
The coat of arms of the Municipality of Nerežišća depicts a silver church with an apse and a bell tower on a distaff, from which a pine tree grows to the left, all on a blue background. This motif symbolizes the famous church of St. Peter in Nerežišće, from whose roof a pine tree (the so-called church bonsai) sprouted. The age of the tree is estimated at 150 to 200 years, and its height is about 170 cm.
